As a supporter of the theories of Darwin and evolution I was rather disappointed with this film. Performances were good. I had expected something else. This is properly the way he got the guts to write the book, but I had hoped for more religion vs.
science. The actual writing of the book was way to swiftly portrayed here. This is in despite of the opening credits, where it states this is the story of how the book came to be.
