Review of Creation (2009) by Kas G — 09 Apr 2010
Pretty boring redition of an extraordinary man and moment in history. Too much focus on the melodrama of getting over the loss of daughter, too little on the meat of it all. However I did like the connection between Darwin's realisation that although they thought love (god) would be enough to seal their union, in fact nature (inbreeding) won out and took their child - fitted well with his experients with the pigeons.
Also liked the use of poetic / non-linear cinematic storytelling.
