I really wanted to like this - I mean, it's a period piece with Paul Bettany so that seems like a no-brainer, and sure, I'm interested in Darwin, but uh. It fell pretty damn flat. Having his dead daughter talk to him & help him figure out evolution is one of those things that I'm sure *seemed* like a good idea, but man.
It sure wasn't. It only gets 2 stars for Bettany's performance.
