Review of Crazy Rich Asians (2018) by Holly M — 25 Nov 2018
Rich people really are crazy. Instead of glamorizing the luxurious lifestyle of individuals, this movie had a nice way of showing that people who have money are sometimes a little nuts.
Fairly conventional storyline of a woman who wants to marry a man who she loves and she isn't "good enough" for the family or up to the standards of a rich family.
Some of the points made were extreme but accurate from the point of view of a person who doesn't accept their loved one, and there were scenes from Singapore that were just beautiful and makes your average person want to spend a little of their own crazy and book a flight there.
You'll love the main characters.
Hate the sub characters.
And giggle at the rest of them.
10/10 would show to my travel buddy to help spend my imaginary crazy.
