Review of Crazy Rich Asians (2018) by Chris L — 21 Aug 2018

This movie was the classic fun well written rom/com with a twist. The twist being someone in Hollywood figured out asian culture and asian actors can shine just as bright on the big screen without needing a martial arts background.

As a huge Constance Wu and Awkwafina fan I was so glad to get the opportunity to watch them in significant roles in a major motion picture. I know Black Panther was a big deal for me and much of the black community.

I hope this movie sends the same charge of recognition and representation to the Asian community!
