In a time of movie unoriginality where every new movie seems to be a reboot or remake; Crazy Rich Asians is an original idea brought together with a great cast and a solid script. It tells a story that even an average viewer with no real connection to Asian culture can understand and easily sympathize with the characters that you will love/hate within in just a short amount of time on screen due to the amazing character development.

The premise is a simple one. Rich guy falls for a simple middle-class working girl and takes home to his family that doesn't accept her. So nothing your typical RomCom hasn't done before, but Crazy Rich Asians as to it its own panache and will be the feel-good love story of the summer that will have you leaving the theater with a smile on your face and pep in your step!
