Review of Crazy in Alabama (1999) by Greta G — 17 Jun 2007
The first time I saw this movie, I absolutely hated it. I honestly did. The second time I saw it (like, three days ago)I was blown away. It's really well done. The characters got me this time; they each had little interesting things about them. The only thing that bugged me is how Banderas tried to wrap up the film by relating the two seperate stories in the movie. For some, strange reason, what he wrote didn't fit. I mean, I think it's obvious that the two stories did have some relation: you're supposed to do anything for freedom. But the way Banderas worded it made it sound awkward...I can't explain it.
But anyways, it was really good, especially for being Antonio's first film!
