Review of Crazy Heart (2009) by Adam S — 25 May 2012

"Crazy Heart" paints an amazing portrait of a struggling, down-and-out alcoholic musician (something we're seeing far too often nowadays in real life), and does it with enough heart to have us hankering for more.

Admittedly, I would have liked to have seen more done with the storyline involving Bad Blake's son, but what they did was short, sweet and effective.

And Jeff Bridges' amazing performance helped overcome that.

Full marks, brilliant movie.
