Jeff Bridges is an amazing actor and Maggie Gyllenhaal is great as well. Duvall rounds out an amazing cast that tells the story of a washed up alcoholic country music star who gets involved with a small time reporter.
It's a great story but is awfully stressful. I am one of those people who doesn't really like dramas because they remind me too much of the real lives of people I know. It is sometimes too heartbreaking to watch.
If you like country music and enjoy dramas, this is well worth the time.
