An honest movie with a familiar story of a fading star. Jeff Bridges plays country singer Bad Blake, who is trying to find his place in the modern world. Maggie Gyllenhaal gives an emotional performance as a journalist and single mum who falls for Blake and attempts to help rescue him from alcohol.
Well filmed with some strong acting in the lead roles.
