Review of Crazy/Beautiful (2001) by Cam B — 14 Sep 2007
OK, so I'm not the target audience for this one - billed to me as another take on R&J. The two stars both go to Dunst - who gives as good an impersonation of teen angst as I've ever seen. Lengthy musical interludes with a soundtrack too young for me combined with a self-important yet poorly-considered subtext of race relations in the US made me remember throughout that I was just watching a run-of-the-mill teen love movie.
