?Distinct Love?
John stockwell?s movie ?Crazy/Beautiful or shall I say ?Distinct love? is a Romantic movie that definitely catches the weak eye! Watching the movie ?Crazy/Beautiful? puts in the mind of another movie?ATL? produced by Chris Robinson! Both romantic dramas are very much alike. Both movies have typical family scenario where ?High class female meets and fall in love with urban bread male?. In these two titles of the film the movies didn?t reflect very expensive film making which I love!
Costume designs In Crazy/Beautiful were well fit to the characters personality. Nicole, (Kristen Dunst) who play the star role portrayed an ?I don?t care attitude?. Through out the movie she wore baby T?s, ripped or faded jeans, with big escalade heels! Her acquaintance (Jay Hernandez) wore jean, a polo shirt, and sneakers, as well as a back pack! This clearly displayed his charm and the fact that he had some interested in his education.
?Crazy Beautiful? is a bout a rich, out of control congressman?s daughter (Kristen Dunst) who meets up with a low class Mexican, straight A student (Jay Hernandez) and falls in love the first time she sees him! Nicole is troubled because she is without a mom and trust. Her father who is remarried is too occupied with his new wife for her. Carlos, who is without a father sees brighter days for him self and his family. The two meet at a beach and discovered they attend the same school.
Carlos wants to attend a university, but needs a recommendation so decides to ask Nicole?s father for it. Her father tells him that he will write it if, Carlos stops talking to his daughter. Nicole?s father and step mother decides that she should attend boarding school. Nicole realizes she was destroying Carlos life by taking him from his dreams and goals!
I really like this movie! It is a magnificent movie that people of all ages can enjoy! This movie touches on many different lessons such as peer pressure, DUI, discrimination, and ways to cope with witnessing suicide. If you have not seen this movie, I believe that you should definitely put it on your must watch list!
