Review of Crawl (2019) by Dawdlingpoet — 28 Nov 2021
This film is just about ok but certainly nothing special. It reminded me of The Shallows - a similar horror/thriller film with a teenage lady having to fend for herself in the dangerous waters, only at sea, rather than in her home.
I found some of the plot elements/aspects a bit hard to believe, so I wouldn't say it seemed realistic (especially regarding injuries) but its watchable, with some alright effects and the acting is ok I guess.
It's a fairly easy watch, not entirely scary but not utterly boring either I guess, this is just about alright but no more and I certainly wouldn't go out of your way to watch it.
