Review of Courageous (2011) by Derek B. C — 06 Feb 2012

This is a really good movie. The production quality is top notch and never looks like amateur hour. The acting, while not Academy award winning, is at least serviceable and often pretty solid. But that is not the point of this movie.

This is a wonderful, uplifting movie that shows what real Christianity is about. It shows love and not judgment, an area where many of us fall short. It paints a picture of the kind of father men should be.

I highly recommend this to all fathers. If I am ever blessed to be a dad, I hope I could be the kind of father that this movie urges these characters to be.
