Review of Courageous (2011) by Jason B — 10 May 2014
This film does a great job at getting the message across about what it means to be a real father in role and not strictly in title. If anything, I only found one primary problem- each cop has a one-dimensional backstory based on their ethnicity (the popular football jock getting his cheerleader girlfriend pregnant, the Hispanic worker looking for work, the black cop not knowing who his father was, etc.
).
