Review of Country Strong (2010) by Maddy C — 20 May 2011

This movie got a lot better toward the end. I feel like they rushed a lot of the story and didn't spend enough time fully developing the characters and telling us their back stories. I might have been more emotionally invested if they purposed some reasons for the choices of the characters.

Maybe I was just supposed to interpret. I also felt like it jumped around a lot and tried to have too many plot layers. But overall, it was a good tear-jerker.
