Intense, interesting, well-done. The writing, the word selection, the adaptation to visual storytelling, I'm surprised at the complexity and accomplishment. It's a very good movie stopped just short of being a great movie.
The chauffeur and Packer didn't connect for me. The wife and Packer, great connection. Benno and Packer, incredible chemistry. The scenes with Pattinson and Giamatti are worth sitting through the whole movie though I confess to being a big Giamatti fan anyway.
When Pattinson is not self-conscious, he's brilliant. He's maybe 4 or 5 years away from being like that all the time.
