Review of Cosmopolis (2012) by Jenna I — 18 Nov 2012

An interesting commentary about life today but not much more. This movie symbolizes the world that we live in and what it could be and for that it makes it interesting to watch but an hour and a half of it without much else grows dull a bit quickly.

Very classic Cronenberg with the pacing and the fashion in which the story is told so if you are already a fan of his you may very well enjoy this movie but if you are not familiar with Cronenberg's body of work then you may not quite understand what is happening.

I liked it but I did not find anything particularly special about it which is why it falls short of being "great" and is instead "good".
