Quite unique special romance movie. Mark Hamill and classmates build a Corvette for a school project under teacher Eugene Roche guidance. When they take it out for test drive, it was stolen. Mark is obsess with it and can't let it go.

He got news of it appearing in Las Vegas and so off he go. He hitch a ride from hooker in training Annie Potts who drive a van with bed and all. Mark arrived and bumbling his search, he saw the Corvette few times but can't chase up.

One day he is cleaning car and found the Corvette in another color. He chase after the car and crash to the workshop. The baddies beat him up and lock him. Mark manage to escape and Annie clean him up.

They have fell in love and Annie work at the burger joint. Eugene receive his postcard and go find him, telling him to stop because he is in cahoot with his former student who is working in a workshop that steal exotic cars.

They plan it all for car to be stolen because he needs money. Mark reluctantly agree not to report and to work in the baddie workshop for $850 a week. He bought himself new suits and also for Annie. But next day he found her van sold.

She become a high class escort. Mark work overnight in the garage and repaint the Corvette. Next day he beat up 2 baddies and drive the car away. He go find Annie and whisk her away. The baddie chase after him and end up crashing his car in a gutsy head on.

Mark drive to the school and return it to the principal. He didn't report to the police or expose Eugene. He get his graduation cert and left with Annie.
