Review of Coraline (2009) by Mai D — 14 Dec 2014
Gorgeous and gritty stop-motion animations; dark, suspenseful, and imaginative narrative. The definite perks of this film was its risky nature, since it discusses dark themes that are generally missing from family films.
However, it still kept its childlike wonder and adventure, much like its predecessor The Nightmare Before Christmas.
