Review of Coraline (2009) by Daniel S — 30 Sep 2012

Ive always wanted to see this, im a fan of dark animated films, and after seeing paranorman I became extra motivated to see this, I dont think I enjoyed this as much as paranorman, but its still very good, all the designs are great, the voice acting is good, and the overall story is good, even tho there were still a few things that I didnt feel they fully explained, I gotta give credit to john hodgeman to the way he voices the other dad, theres just this real serene quality about it that I really responded to, but most importantly the story is dark, and it doesnt pander or become childish at all.
