Review of Copycat (1995) by Ola H — 09 Jul 2010
One of the best-acted thrillers of the 1990s was this intense serial killer story starring Holly Hunter as a police detective tracking down a case of brutal murders, and Sigourney Weaver as the agoraphobic criminal expert who helps her find the killer.
Solid supporting turns from William McNamara, Will Patton, Dermot Mulroney and Harry Connick, Jr. At the time I thought Hunter and Weaver were Oscar-nomination-worthy. Holds up, I think, pretty favorably along side "The silence of the Lambs.
