Review of Cop Land (1997) by Alec T — 16 Feb 2008
Cop Land is much better than I remember it being. With a cast this great (DeNiro, Keitel, Liotta, tons of Sopranos alums), it's flabbergasting to think Stallone gives the best performance of the movie if not his career.
The aforementioned Liotta also turns in top-drawer work. The concluding shootout and a couple of choice Springsteen cuts add to this New Jersey-set modern Western.
