Review of Cop Land (1997) by Peter P — 14 Jul 2010
Amazingly talented cast, interesting story and the worst looking nose bandage in film history, that pretty much sums up Copland. Overall the film works on a lot of levels, moving along a fairly decent pace, with all the actors doing a good job in their roles, no matter how large or small.
Stallone manages to come off as a bumbling lovable guy next door so well that I would have hardly recognized him from his total action days of the 80's. It was also nice to see Robert Patrick in a good role, he rarely seems to get them this good, and it was great to see him take advantage of it.
So yeah, good movie, great cast, and terrible nose bandage.
