Terrific performances from an All-Star cast, though Stallone in particular excelled. The dialogue was sharp and sparse, especially in the climax where there's wonderful use of sound design. (Did this win the Oscar for sound design that year? Because it should have.
) A lot of people in this movie have a tendency to overact, but they played it real low-key. They played it just right because this is a freaking awesome movie.
