Review of Cool World (1992) by Melody S — 12 Mar 2009
Every living human, including Ralph Bakshi himself, may hate this movie, but I certainly don't. This was one of the most original and creative movies of 1992. It's so surreal and so vibrant and so alive.
Unfortunately, it was made in the wake of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and was forced to fit that mold. However, despite the studio meddling, Bakshi has created a fine addition to his canon, no matter what he thinks.
