Review of Cool Runnings (1993) by Yessica S — 20 Mar 2011

While kind of inaccurate from actual historical events, this film is still a treat. The problem with most comedies is that they overwhelm you with out of place and over the top jokes, here the soft humor is a lot better because it doesn't feel out of place, nor does it take away from the dramatic aspect of the story.

All of the actors do great in their roles, but I've got to tip my hat to John Candy who did a really good job in this role. While this film does have a few flaws, like the historical innaccuracy, I was able to overlook them, just sit back and enjoy this film.
