The Grandaddy of cool prison movies. Paul Newman has never been cooler. A total classic that still holds up well today. I never get tired of watching this film. I love the way that the prison guards never break Lukes spirit and just as you think they have cracked him he delivers a total fuck you.
A great movie but may put you off hard boiled eggs for a while.
