Review of Coogan's Bluff (1968) by Shane D — 18 May 2012
Going through an Eastwood phase of late and attempting to watch all of his greatest films. This must surely rank highly amongst them. Starting off in familiar territory as an Arizona sherrif, Eastwood is still fresh faced and not nearly as grizzled as I am used to seeing him.
He's a good looking chap in this. Combining Western pathos with a sexy-city crime film, this was thoroughly enjoyable.
