Review of Conviction (2010) by Mark B — 13 Feb 2011
Some times people make baseless allegations and just jump to conclusions.
This is a powerful story about a man wrongly convicted and his sister trying to free him. Wow,must say "what a true sister act", loyal and trustworthy towards her brother.
When Betty Anne Waters' (two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank) older brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) is arrested for murder and sentenced to life in 1983, Betty, a Massachusetts wife and mother of two, dedicates her life to overturning the murder conviction. Convinced that her brother is innocent, she puts herself through high school, college and, finally, law school in an 18 year quest to free him. This film will make you believe again, that with desire, perseverance and the conviction to never stop trying, almost anything is possible.
Overall, it's an inspiring tale of how far a Sister can go for her Brother, to get Justice. Truly Inspiring.
Once in a life time must watch: YES.
