Review of Conviction (2010) by Andrew S — 15 May 2017
Am I suppose to be overly impressed or care even more because this film is based on a true story? Because I certainly don't. The film is painfully formulated and predictable. It barley held my attention and the performances are mediocre.
Swank has played this type of character so many times before, Rockwell is decent but a bit over the top at times. I think Juliette Lewis is really the standout performance in this film. I expected better of Melissa Leo though.
