Review of Conviction (2010) by Ray P — 04 Mar 2011
Has a generous helping of moments with actual emotion and sometimes insight, but too often prefers to go the route of easy TV-movie manipulation. For example, the main character's sons at one point express the belief that she's spent her entire life on this project and they don't think they'd be able to do the same for each other.
Subject is then immediately dropped in favor of less interesting details.
