Review of Conviction (2010) by Cassie M — 06 Mar 2011
This was a great movie in my opinion. It pulls at your heart strings and the fact that it is a true story really draws you in. Its amazing to think of the sacrifice Betty Anne Waters made of her own life to help free her brother.
Beautifully acted by the entire cast. As far as the rated R rating, the movie was full of cursing but light on the violence (you don't see much of the murder aftermath) and a bar fight scene. Its wild to think that this is only 1 of 289 cases since 1986 where DNA evidence exonerated the wrongly convicted.
