Review of Conviction (2010) by Gary B — 27 Mar 2011
Where is the entertainment in watching actors bawl for an hour and a half on screen? In Conviction we endure Hilary Swank sobbing and squawking 'no.... but he's innocent' because of a crime her bruv didn't commit.
I can hardly think of a worse punishment. Add to the mix the many 2D characters, the wooden acting of everyone except Sam Rockwell, and the fact I didn't care about anyone in the movie, the jury is definitely not out on this film: guilty as charged! And damn that woman's got a face that resembles the love child of Mick Jagger and Julia Roberts after corrective cosmetic surgery that went the way of Leslie Ash.
No tits.
