Review of Conviction (2010) by Renny T — 18 Apr 2011
Conviction is a story about a sister and a brother, it's the story about the true compassion between the two. It's a story about how you would do anything for the other.
This movie truly shows what love is all about. It's a true story which just makes it even more compelling. It's about giving up your life just to be able to save someone else.
The storyline of this movie truly breaks my heart. How can you seriously be wrongly convicted for murder? How can you destroy someone's life like that? How can you put someone in prison when you don't even have enough evidence to prove that the someone is guilty?
This movie pulled at my heartstrings, mostly because it's based on a true story which made it even more genuine than it already was. The acting was also amazing. Minnie Driver did an excellent accent and so did the rest of the cast.
This is an impressive movie that is most certainly worth a watch, it shows how a life can be turned upside down and how someone can be so determined that she doesn't give up, instead she saves her family. You should definitely watch this for the heartbreakingly true storyline, and the incredible acting that makes this movie into a masterpiece!
