Review of Conviction (2010) by Scott G — 08 Jul 2011
Director Tony Goldwyn delivers in what is essentially a remake of Norman Jewison's The Hurricane. Conviction is heartfelt and has another terrific performance at it's heart by Hillary Swank. Sam Rockwell is not bad either as a man wrongfully convicted man.
This is the true story of a woman who turns her life completely upside down, going so far as attaining a law degree in order to prove her brother innocent.
