Review of Conviction (2010) by Jacob E — 30 Apr 2011
"Conviction" is a nice movie, though much like many other lawyer movies. The main difference is that the lawyer's client is her brother, and that she became a lawyer to get him out of prison.
It's a true story, so that's cool. But, personally, I couldn't relate. Instead of focusing on the specifics of the case, I kept thinking, "Why in the world is she doing that?" I still don't know the answer.
