Review of Conversations with Other Women (2006) by Rebecca S — 15 Sep 2007
Being in love with a fantasy. We all have done it, and perhaps still do. Very complicated story, and only when you watch it more than once can you truly begin to unravel the relationship between these two, which is not what it seems at first.
Amazing these two actors could pull off the script so convincingly to the audience, considering they knew the true connection between the two and had to hide it from us. Aaron Eckhart was not fully exploited for his talent here, especially during his emotional soliloquoy while she is in the shower, though by no fault of his own.
Helena Bonham Cater is, also, one of the most spectacular actresses of my generation.
