Review of Conversations with Other Women (2006) by Meike V — 12 Apr 2008
I have two opinions about this movie: Good opinion: Both the leading actors are great in this movie, and the young versions Helena Bonham Carter and Aaron Eckhart are very well cast. My mum thought they were actually the actors but with less makeup on :P The split screan was interesting, the movie offers several different endings to this movie, but in the end all the different story lines which started merge into two possible endings.
Either they are together or they are not, which I havent seen before in a movie. What I didnt like about this movie was that it was well how do you put it nicely: rather boring. No change of scenery, only two people talking and talking.
No background music. No interesting lighting. It seems like a very low budget movie and you can tell. Helena looked *probably she was supposed to* like she was extremely tired and doing drugs. Aaron however much to my mums and aunts agreement was yum.
I wont be able to watch this movie for a second time.
