Review of Control (2007) by Chris O — 05 Nov 2008
A very well acted portrayal of the Late Ian Curtis, the notorious front man of the fiery JOY DIVISION. This is not for the Adam Sandler set.
The mood of this film is dark and darker....A sad and tragic story of a band that could have gone on to further greatness if not for the fact that poor Ian was physically and mentally a very sick man.
The spark had barely caught fire before he ended his life knowing full well he was unable to cope with his terminal illness and mental suffering.
Thankfully Joy Division left a fair amount of music for all to feel his pain and anguish...Long Live Joy Division!
