Review of Control (2007) by Nathan M — 25 Jan 2011
Well crafted with a good performance from Sam Riley, but despite the sharp look and great music, this story deserved a better screenplay. The second half of the film begins to drag and the decay of Ian Curtis the mind is not shown to be convincingly dynamic as typical interior monologues read like stereotypic teenage fodder at times.
