Review of Control (2007) by Lostcambion — 06 Jan 2009
This flick is about the story of a talented musician and poet who lost the control of himself due to epilepsy, unability to choose for his own good in love matters between his wife and lover and his guilt about being an absent father for his baby daughter.
Ian Curtis, frontman of the Joy Division, let everything collpase on his shoulders and ruined the American dream tour just the day before the leaving. "Love will tear us apart" was his motto and the phras written on his grave in 1980, when he committed suicide at age 23.
So sad, so true. Beautiful photography and Sam Riley is very brillian as a Curtis' look-alike.
