Review of Control (2007) by Mark P — 20 Nov 2010
Corbijn's measured and un-melodramatic view on something that can't be observed (beyond the biography by Deborah Curtis 'touching from a distance'). Are we privy to what a suicidee did in his last moments? No one saw.
But we can guess. Sam Riley does a great job, and the music is so nostalgic. But for the rest of it, you'll just have to sense the Atmosphere yourself.
