If one doesn't mind watching a movie with an implausible plot having many grotesque elements (necrophilia!) and horribly unlikeable characters dumber than rutabagas doing the dumbest things you've ever seen onscreen, Contracted might be a movie for you.

After a drunken one night stand with a stranger, Samantha (Najarra Townsend) begins to see some strange and frightening changes happen to own body. As the stranger was a male and Sam claims to be a lesbian, she is afraid to let anybody know about her transgression/really bad decision.

Contracted is supposed to be a psychological horror film but there isn't much psychology here because these characters are all idiots. Nobody acts realistically and nobody is likeable. Samantha has some of the worst "friends" on the planet and everybody onscreen cares about one person only -- himself/herself.

It has been a long while since I have watched a movie witch such inexplicable character development ... as there is none and everyone onscreen is only smart enough to breath and string a few words together in sentences.

Nobody onscreen can add two plus two. If the audience is supposed to care what happens to Sam, the filmmakers make this impossible to do ... she is a horrid human being whose sexuality (is she or isn't she?) has nothing to do with it.

She's detestable. The random stranger is detestable. Her "friends" are detestable. Her boss is "detestable". Contracted is .... yes, you guessed it -- detestable.
