Review of Contempt (1963) by Chris M — 05 Jun 2007
One of the most beautiful shot films ever and one of the best openings of a film.
Definitley a filmmakers film. Bardot, Piccoli, Palance, and Lang all give great performances.
A great story of a hack writer who takes a job to rewrite a film for the money to impress is gorgeous wife. She begins to despise him and the wheels start rolling.
Please rent and support true film art.
