Review of Contempt (1963) by Abby R — 14 Nov 2007
Bardot is beautiful, but the film, supposedly an adaptation of Moravia's novel, is nothing at all like the book. Tragic music plays throughout and wears on the audience. The scenery is lovely though, and I very much enjoyed Goddard's use of color.
