Review of Contagion (2011) by Panayiotis D — 01 Jan 2013
Contagion is probably the most scientefic accurate disease movie ever made. Although it employs an ensemble cast the real protagonist is the virus itself and the effects on the population. This is a mixed thing as real drama is generally lacking although this novel approach does have benefits.
Highlights:
- Scientific accuracy (very high).
- Matt Damon and Jude Law performance.
Letdowns.
- Low on drama.
- Jude Law's role was a little mixed. It should have either been expanded or reduced and been a little better clarified. His performance is suberb though.
