Review of Contact (1997) by Sue B — 20 Sep 2010
Great story scientifically built but with some charming fictional(?) elements. A question that concerns almost everyone -are we alone in an infinite universe- is answered in a way that we may have in the back of our minds. That doesn't mean that the storyline is stereotypical. Therefore I would say is far from that. For this movie, Zemeckis is a more serious Spielberg and that's fantastic for both of them. Absolutely beautiful ending.
Kostas Vasiliadis.
