Review of Constantine (2005) by Geordie K — 21 Aug 2010
Definitely better than I thought it would be. Some dialogue and action was bombastic and over the top. What really killed it was Keanu Reeves. I have nothing against him, but the part called for a crusty, dry, suffering actor with a good ability for wit and sarcasm.
Reeves is good at young characters and fish-out-of-water roles, this did NOT suit him.
