Review of Constantine (2005) by Jason H — 12 Sep 2010
Great visuals, although, I would have liked to have seen a stronger skeptic that needs to be "shown" the darker sides of a supposed reality. The film lingers for the most part and the first-act gets in the way of the rest of the movie (talk about laying some pipe).
Also, while the two leads obviously have an attraction to each other--there is no solidity to their relationship. Overall, a great attempt but could have been more grounded to work in "our perceived reality".
